Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you! Who would have thought there would ever BE a year 2000? I guess in '74 I certainly didn't!It was a great time to "live in the moment!"
My husband Ken and I spent Christmas here in Atlanta with our two kids: Scott, 21, and Erin,20. We had a very nice day together, and had neighbors over for dinner. With the y2k fright going on, I'm afraid Ken will be spending New Year's Eve at work. I, however, will be at a progressive dinner and consume mass quantities of champagne!
Have a great year everyone, and be safe!

Happy holidays and best wishes for the new millenium. Watching the "traffic" on this bulletin board is a daily reminder that our friends and family really are the most important things in life. It is wonderful to see that so many friendships forged at ZAB are still so strong across the years and distances. I did not know Jon Curtis, but seeing your tributes to him was touching. He died at the same time as one of my daughter's 6 year friends, who was accidentally killed when she fell from her father's landscape trailer. May we all treasure the time we have with our families and our friends.

Merry Christmas to all.
I will be spending Christmas with my wonderful
husband Terence and my beautiful baby girl Isabela.
Isabela is now 19 months old so she is understanding
Christmas a little, all though she is terribly scared
of Santa Claus : (
We will be having Christmas dinner with my sister
Linda and her family here in Autin, Texas.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

My wife, Monica, and I are living in Virginia Beach Virginia. (Hey Tim...I haven't forgotten about ya..phone call WILL be forthcoming one of these days soon!) I have just under 3 years to go to retire from the US NAVY. I have 3 stepdaughters who are all "grown" and on their own now. They are in TX, KY, and CA. In addition I will become a step-grandpa (for the second time) in April so we are excited about that. Setting all seriousness aside for a minute, we have a new family member, "Titan". He is a 5 year old doberman with an attention deficit/hypertension disorder. He also seems to have a foot fetish as black socks constitute his favorite snack item. The goldfish tank is thriving. We have tried to add new fish but they seem to disappear as fast as we put them in there so we suspect one of our goldfish is a cannibal. Our cats now live outside. They glare at the fish through the window sometimes but mostly sit on rooftops and hiss at the new dog. They make a point of using the front lawn as their litterbox so all the neighbors will notice they have been tossed out to fend for themselves. Back to serious, we are doing quite well (the pets included) and are looking forward to a good year to come and the reunion in June. We want to wish all of you a very Merry XMAS and Happy New Years!!

My husband and I will be celebrating the new
millennium in Tokyo, Japan where we've been living
and teaching English for nine years. Our son,
Jeremy, will be spending it in Phoenix with my
Mom and siblings. I'm the only one of the five
who doesn't live in Arizona. My brother Joe lives
in Pinetop, and his youngest son, Joey just made
the basketball team there. I know playing basket
ball at ZHS is one of Joe's fondest memories.
Wishing everyone peace & happiness in 2000. Mary

Have a "very merry" one! Here are some holiday links to browse through to get you in the mood. But before you do that, click on the link at the top of the page to add your own holiday greeting. Be it a newsy paragraph to let us know what you've been up to or just a very short and sweet "Happy Holidays". From the Zaragoza High School Alumni Association . . . "we wish you all joy and peace this season and into the new year."
